This morning after dropping Lindsay off at school, I went to the community center and voted. Right now in The Woodlands there are three propositions that would free our town from being annexed by the city of Houston. This is a big deal for our community because it would mean that we could incorporate as our own city and have our own government. Another master planned community called Kingwood was in a similar situation as a few years ago and they ended up being annexed by the city of Houston. It has been a very negative experience for Kingwood's residents to be a part of Houston. If these three propositions pass, it will set The Woodlands free.
