The pennants I worked so hard on
Brandon's baseball team won BOTH of their games this weekend! Friday night the Irish beat the Bulldogs 8-5. Brandon went 2 for 3 at the plate and made 2 outs in the field (one at catcher and one at 1st base). The whole team played so well that Coach Lou decided to give every player a game ball. The team that seemed so good at practice showed up for the game on Friday night and played their hearts out. Saturday night the Irish beat the Gators 11-7 in a 3 inning match before the rain started. Brandon went 1 for 2 a the plate. The Gators were undefeated before Brandon's team beat them. Now there are six teams tied for 2nd place in the division with 2-1 records.
