After Brandon's game on Saturday, we went to dinner at Steel City Pizza. The whole concept of this place amazes me and almost makes me want to be a Steelers fan. It's a pizza restaurant chain that is all about the Pittsburgh Steelers. The entire place is decorated in Steelers paraphernalia and they have big game watching parties for any Pittsburgh team. The pizza is delicious and the atmosphere is laid back and welcoming. What is so incredible to me is that their market research told them it would be a good idea to open a location in The Woodlands, Texas. They don't have a website (from what I can find), but here is a description on a Woodlands business website (and for the record, the six 42" plasma televisions were the perfect way to watch the texas longhorns lose their football game Saturday night):

Steel City makes all of its products from scratch. The flour for our pies is special flour we have brought in and is made fresh daily. The sauce is an old world recipe, made from a blend of three different tomato products along with a unique assortment of herbs and spices. That is why we have a “Hard Working Sauce”. All the toppings are fresh and the cheese is a blend of three cheeses shredded daily. In addition to pizza we have a large selection of hoagies and pastas as well as salads, bread sticks, and nachos.

If you’re a Pittsburgh fan we will have the Steelers, Pirates Penguins and Pitt. events. We also have an assortment of your favorite beers on tap and in bottles and we will have wine by the glass.
