Lindsay quit sucking her thumb about 9 months ago. She basically gave it up cold turkey and never looked back. The last time we visited the pediatric dentist, he rewarded her efforts with a $20 gift card to Toys R Us. But for some reason, in the last week she has seriously regressed. I have caught her sucking her thumb several times. I don't know if it's summer boredom and not being in school and busy with activities, but we are having to employ our thumb-sucking deterrents again. I put the dreaded (and quite nasty) "Thum" solution all over both of her thumbs. And now she is having to wear the thumb socks that Aunt Gwen made her.
