The Original FranConey

On Saturday before the game, we ate lunch at Koppe Bridge - an Aggie classic. The menu now features the "Koppe Bridge Original FranCONEY" named after our head football coach Dennis Francione.

Flyover Picture and Video

Before every Aggie football game, there is a military fly over - usually flown by Former Students. For the A&M/Montana State game Saturday, two F-16's flew over Kyle Field. I'm shocked that I actually got a picture of them because it was so loud that I jumped right when I clicked the shutter. Here is a video of the flyover on YouTube as well.

Birthday Weekend

This weekend Jeff and I celebrated my 33rd birthday with a trip to College Station for an A&M football game. We met our friends Jen & David and Carrie & Scott there and we spent the weekend acting like we were college students again by staying out too late and spending too much time at Northgate (a popular strip of bars across from campus). I don't think we fooled anyone into thinking we were still in school! Especially when we were all yawning at Midnight Yell Practice.
There is no other way I would want to spend my birthday - with good friends, my favorite town and an Aggie football win. It made turning 33 not so bad!
