We celebrated New Year's Eve with our neighbors and the kids toasted with sparkling apple cider. Jeff sat with his broken ankle up on a chair and our neighbor (who just had surgery for a broken wrist) sat with his arm up in the air. They were quite a pair (yes, I know that rhymes). And yet their injuries didn't stop them from setting off fireworks in the street. Good thing Charles's wrist bandage didn't catch on fire because Jeff couldn't hobble over to help him fast enough if he needed to.
2008 is already in full swing. Brandon has little league tryouts this Saturday. Lindsay's ballet/tap class is learning their spring recital dance. Tax busy season is kicking off for me and college recruiting has begun for Jeff (he is in College Station as I type this, attempting to lure unsuspecting college juniors to sell their souls to the public accounting devil). My office redecoration project is almost complete (still waiting for an upholstered chair to be delivered) and then I will post some pictures. The new office will definitely make it more fun for me to work from home.
Last night we had "Make Your Own Pizza" night, which the kids love. Since they use various vegetables to make faces on their pizzas, they are more likely to eat them.
And, this past weekend, a new women entered Jeff's life. He bought a Mercedes E320.
