Brandon had his 7th birthday party on Saturday and shockingly - it rained! Of course, I'm being sarcastic because it always rains on Brandon's birthday. And like a complete idiot I keep scheduling pool parties for his brithday! Our track record is not good - 4 out of his 7 birthday parties have been pool parties and it has rained at all 4. So, this Saturday was no exception. The party was scheduled for 1:30pm and it poured rain all morning. Brandon cried his eyes out and lamented, "Why does it always rain on my birthday????" Then at 1:30 sharp, 6 of his buddies from school, the neighborhood and baseball showed up. And miraculously, the sun came out and shined!!! They swam, ate snowcones and cookie cake and had a great time. At 4:00 pm the parents picked up their boys and immediately it started pouring rain again. We had 2 1/2 hours of uniterrupted sunshine JUST for Brandon's party. It was perfect! Here are some more pictures of the wild boys!!
